These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Apartment Hunter ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Apartment Hunter is a free service that monitors rental listings from public sources (Kleinanzeigen, WG-Gesucht, ImmoScout24, Immowelt, and OpenRent) for the Munich rental market. The Service scores listings against your profile, generates application drafts, and sends notifications via Telegram when listings match your criteria.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information during registration
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Violate the rights of others (including intellectual property rights)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service for fraud, deception, or other illegal purposes
• Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use information from the Service to harass or contact landlords or other users inappropriately

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All listings will be accurately scored or matched
• Application drafts will be persuasive or effective
• Your use will result in finding housing
• Data will be protected from all security threats
• The Service will meet your specific needs

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of revenue, profits, data, or other economic loss
• Failure to find housing or missed listings
• Inaccurate scoring or matching of listings
• Third-party actions (including landlord decisions or platform changes)

7. No Guarantee of Service

The Service is provided as a tool to assist your apartment search. We do not:

• Guarantee that listings we identify will be available for rental
• Guarantee that landlords will respond to applications
• Guarantee that application drafts will be effective
• Control listing platforms or landlord behavior

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable if the entire Service or any part becomes unavailable. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide notice and allow time for you to export your data.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the Service or its resources
• Have not used the account for 12 consecutive months

10. Your Content

Your profile information and search criteria are your responsibility. You grant us permission to use this information to provide the Service. You retain all rights to your content and can delete it at any time from your account settings.

Apartment Hunter and its features, design, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal use only. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit the Service without permission.

The Service may link to third-party websites (rental platforms, external resources). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of German courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
